Three Floyds | Zombie Dust | 6.2% ABV
Pale Ale
I haven’t reviewed Zombie Dust yet because I drink it all the time. This is the beer. The ultimate Pale Ale. I can’t say enough about this beer. It has such a unique taste to it. Nothing tastes like Zombie Dust. I don’t even know what it tastes like. Pine maybe? It so good. Get it.
Price: $10/6-pack
Rating: 10/10
Three Floyds Brewing | Blackheart | 8% ABV
English IPA
English in style and in nature. By nature, I mean this beer is brewed with all english ingredients. The official may release for my favorite brewery, Three floyds. Bitter pale taste with malts mixed in. You can really taste the oak in this. Three Floyds hits another home run. Get it.
Price: $10/22oz Bomber
Rating: 7/10
My friends over at ChicagoBeerGeeks.com dropped their dark day review the other day. Go Check it out!
Three Floyd’s Brewing | Rye’d Da Lightning | 6.7% ABV
Rye Pale Ale
Another new beer from three floyd’s. I’m having a hard time keeping up!
It’s no surprise that this is a perfectly done rye pale ale. Dry and refreshing with a little bit of carbonation. You can taste a faint carmelness that is quickly covered up with rye and malts. Very good beer. If you can get your hands on it, do it.

I’m not going to bore you with a bunch of words. Here’s some pictures and a list of what I drank!

This is what the line looked like when we showed up. It took 3 hours to get in. That’s my one complaint.

The stage. \m/

The Argonauts and Jim.

The line for our beer. Yeah, I don’t see a line either but we made it. Two hours but this was a fun two hours.

Mike, Jim, and me in the brewery.

Some guy we don’t even know during eye hate god.

Eye hate god.

This is what I made it out with. 4 Dark Lords and a (pappy) bourbon barrel aged Dark Lord.

Three Floyd’s Brewing | Live A Rich Life | 8.7% ABV
Belgian IPA
This brew pub favorite (shark pants) got a bottle release dedicated to the memory of Rich Sheppard (age:21). This beer is sooooo interesting. It starts with that really bitter grapefruit taste that most IPA’s have but then turns into something completely different. Very fruity and floral. The aftertaste much come from the belgian side of this brew. Definitely check this beer out if you have the chance. Fantastic.
Price: $15/22oz bomber

“Haven’t had Three Floyds’ oyster stout. In fact, I think the only oyster stout I’ve had is by Porterhouse, and I really enjoy it. It’s a Lizard tour beer, one that has stuck with me over the years. Check it out or let me know if you can’t get it locally.”
I have not had it but I will look for it!
